Accidents reported

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Hillary A. Koser, 21, Wichita, was southbound on U.S.-77 just south of 20th at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29. The right side wheels of her 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier dropped off the pavement. When driver tried to recover, she lost control, went into the ditch, and rolled at least two times. The vehicle is registered to Margaret A. Koser, of the home. Koser was not injured, reports Deputy Larry Starkey.

Patrick A. Glick, 31, 501 North Poplar, Peabody, was northbound on Nighthawk just north of 100th at 3:29 p.m. Nov. 9. Terry L. Turley, 44, Wichita, was stopped in the northbound lane facing north. Glick, driving a 1979 Honda motorcycle, struck the rear of Turley's 1993 Ford F-150. Passenger in the Turley vehicle was Vicki L. Turley, 37, of the home. Glick was attended by Marion County EMS, reports Undersheriff Randal Brazil, Deputy Mike Vineski, and Sergeant Jeff Soyez.

Paula M. Guhr, 58, Newton, was northbound on K-15 just north of 100th at 6:10 a.m. Nov. 11. A deer entered the roadway and was struck by Guhr's 1996 Dodge Stratus. The vehicle is registered to Resnik Motors Inc., Newton. Guhr was not injured, reports Deputy Rollin Schmidt.

Lynn Nicole Hess, 20, 321 S. 1st, Marion, was westbound on U.S.-56 just west of Remington at 5:45 a.m. Nov. 9. A deer entered the roadway and was struck by Hess' 1996 Ford Thunderbird. Hess was not injured, reports Deputy Josh Whitwell.

Morgan R. Rickard, 18, 706 Locust, Peabody, was westbound on 190th just east of Falcon at 12:24 p.m. Nov. 8. Rickard lost control of the 1994 Saturn she was driving and the vehicle struck the south embankment. The vehicle spun around and rolled on its top. The vehicle is registered to Pamela Rickard of the home. The driver was not injured, reports Deputy Vineski.

Molly S. Grosse, 23, 604 Chestnut, Peabody, was westbound on 190th just east of Limestone at 7:18 a.m. Nov. 12. A deer entered the roadway from the south ditch. Grosse, driving a 1990 Ford Mustang, swerved to prevent hitting the deer, entered the north ditch, and struck a concrete culvert and delineator. Grosse was not injured, reports Deputy Schmidt.

Michael J. Teeters, 30, Solomon, was westbound on U.S.-56 just east of Nighthawk at 3:50 p.m. Nov. 11. Michael C. Sigwing, 39, 513 Marion, Florence, was eastbound on U.S.-56. As Teeters' 1997 Freightliner passed Sigwing's 2001 Jeep Wrangler, rocks flew up striking and pitting Sigwing's vehicle. No injuries occurred, reports Deputy Schmidt.

Stephanie A. King, 18, 206 South Main, Hillsboro, was eastbound on 190th just west of Remington at 2 a.m. Nov. 11. King, driving a 2005 Honda, went off the south edge of the road, over corrected, slid into the south ditch, and rolled onto its top. Jesse Thacker, 19, 817 250th, Hillsboro, was a passenger in the vehicle that is registered to Timothy King of the home. No one was injured, reports Deputy Vineski.

Crystal Dawn Sims, 18, Navarre, was southbound on K-15 just north of 290th at 6 p.m. Nov. 11. A deer came from the east ditch and was struck by Sims' 1993 Volkswagen. Sims was not injured, reports Deputy Starkey.
