Alice Rosiere
Alice L. Rosiere, 82, of Florence, died Nov. 11, 2005, at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
Born Oct. 31, 1923, at Neosho, Mo., she was the daughter of John and Roxanna Blankenship.
On June 8, 1940, she married Jess Rosiere at Missouri.
She retired from Seward Hardware in 1988, after 20 years of employment.
She was a member of the former Rebekah Lodge at Florence.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and son-in-law, Bob Shanklin; parents; two brothers, Earl and Glenn; and sister, Laura Cox.
Survivors include son, Bill Rosiere of Florence; daughter, Janis Shanklin of Florence; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Zeiner Funeral Home, Florence, with the Rev. Steve Hysom officiating.
Vocalist was Julie Nelson. Organist was Dolly Soyez.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence.
A memorial fund has been established with Florence Public Library.
