Amazing Race added to festival line-up
How well do you know Marion? How fast can you solve clues? How fast can you perform simple tasks (well, maybe not all that simple)?
If you think you can do these things, then you need sign up for Marion's Amazing Race.
A new event during this year's Chingawassa Days, Marion's Amazing Race is sponsored by Marion Historical Museum.
Based on the popular reality television show, two-person teams will follow clues in a race that will give the winning team a $100 cash prize. Second place will receive $75 and third $50.
All participants must have a Chingawassa Days button the day of the race, June 2. Any mode of transportation may be used. Entry is $25 per two-person team. Those teams who enter the race by Sunday will receive a free T-shirt. Entries will be accepted after that date but will not receive a T-shirt.
