Anna Ecklund
Anna E. Ecklund, 91, of Burdick, died Nov. 9, 2004, at Lutheran Care Home, Herington.
Born Jan. 20, 1913, in Lincolnville, she was the daughter of Frank and Anna Marie (Wittig) Lehman.
She was a homemaker and member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Herington, and Ladies Aid of the church.
On Aug. 6, 1935, she married Vernie Ecklund. He died in 1979. She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Leon Ecklund; a brother, Otto Lehman; and her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Ecklund of Burdick and Merle Ecklund of Lost Springs; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday morning at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Herington, with the Rev. Troy Slater officiating.
Burial was in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Burdick.
Memorial funds have been established with the church or Herington Senior Center.
