Anna Wheeler
Anna B. Wheeler, 90, died April 30, 2006, at Sunshine Home, Buhler.
Born May 17, 1915, at Franzthal, Russia, she was the daughter of David and Helena (Jantz) Becker.
In 1923, she moved to Lehigh.
She married Raymond Wheeler at McPherson in 1937. He died in 1999.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter; five brothers; sister; four step-brothers; and a step-sister.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Vinson of Abilene; three sons, Cecil Wheeler of Buhler, Frank Wheeler of South Hutchinson, and James Wheeler of Grand Junction, Colo.; stepsisters, Bertha Steinle of Halstead; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Danner Funeral Home, Abilene, with Fr. Henry Baxa officiating. Burial was in Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery, north of Abilene.
A memorial fund has been established with Sunshine Home, Buhler.
