LETTERS: Another idea years ago
To the Editor:
I have been reading all the flap about the truck parking situation.
I recall a lot on West Main that would be ideal for a parking spot. Easy access, no residential difficulties. It could be rocked, provide space, and easy access.
Has anyone ever considered the property around the implement business on West Main? It has plenty of room and an enclosed fence. Does the city own a part of that or is the entire property owned by the implement dealer? Could something be worked out with the dealer? Again, easy access and no difficulty with residences.
