Area women take part in tournament at MCC

Marion Country Club played host Thursday to a women's golf tournament.

Seventeen teams of area women participated in the two-person, nine-hole scramble.

Third - Penny Hickman, Council Grove, and Diana Solis, Emporia, 38.

Second - Ida Schierling and Judy Patton, Emporia, 44.

Third - Thee Mamoth, Augusta, and Edith Rempel, Hillsboro, 45.
