Augusta Ollenberger
Augusta Rose Ollenberger, 90, died June 8, 2006, at Marion Manor.
Born March 26, 1916, on a farm east of Lincolnville, she was the daughter of Emil and Augusta (Schlesener) Krause.
On Aug. 11, 1939, she married Ronald Ollenberger at St. John Lutheran Church, Lincolnville. The couple lived in California, Texas, Manhattan, and Hutchinson before moving back to Marion in the mid-1960s.
She was a homemaker and member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, Martin, William, and Paul; and four sisters, Bertha Otte, O'Tillie Albrecht, Marie Beneke, and Lena Albrecht.
Survivors include two sisters, Martha Brockmeier of Herington and Esther Groneman of Lincolnville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Marion, with the Rev. Brett Huebner officiating.
Burial was in Marion Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
