Bevans to observe 50th anniversary years ago
Velber and Donna (Pankratz) Bevan of Hutchinson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary May 5.
The couple was married May 5, 1956, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marion.
He worked as a signal maintainer for the Rock Island and Southern Pacific Railroad for more than 40 years. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Before they were married, Donna worked at Broadstreet Photography Studio.
