Bill Carter
William R. "Bill" Carter, 60, Marion, died Jan. 11, 2008.
Born March 1, 1947, at Wichita, he was the son of William and Fern (Mast) Carter.
He served in the U.S. Army in 1967 and 1968. He was a social worker in the mental health field.
He lived in Wichita most of his life, moving to Marion about five years ago.
Survivors include a son, Marc Carter of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Randy Carter of Wichita; and one granddaughter.
Graveside services were held Tuesday morning at Wichita Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dave Hennion officiating.
