Blackman resigns from hospital district board

Peggy Blackman, longtime member of the board of directors of Marion County Hospital District #1, has resigned.

A written resignation was read Feb. 21 by board chairman Gene Winkler which was effective immediately. Blackman was not present at the meeting.

Board member Judy Reno suggested Jerry Dieter of Marion be appointed to serve Blackman's unexpired term. The board decided to table the decision until the next board meeting.
