Bowers to celebrate golden anniversary
Vernon and Arlene Bowers of Marion will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 1 with a family dinner and extended RV trip to the southeast.
Vernon Bowers and Arlene Klein were married Oct. 5, 1956, Old Settlers' Day, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Marion.
Their two children and five grandchildren will host the dinner. They are Linda and Joseph Deiter, Matthew and Christopher of Winfield and the Rev. Troy and Amy Bowers, Jovi and Sidnee of Salina.
