Bruners observe 50th anniversary years ago
Merle and Nova Bruner of Marion will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family celebration.
Nova Bredemeier and Merle Bruner were married Feb. 12, 1956, at Marion.
He retired in 1996 as a City of Marion foreman. Nova was a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service until 2000.
The couple has two daughters, Cristi Soyez and Cathy Cleeton; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
