Charles Gutsch attended the Centre Cougars' league tournament game Monday evening at Centre. He also attended a game Thursday evening at Herington between Herington Middle School and Osage City Middle School.
Lee Shade is starting a Compassionate Friends group for parents, grandparents, and siblings. It will be held at 7 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month at her home at 222 Main Street, Burdick. For more information call her at 785-983-4367. The first meeting will be in February.
Steve Schild came Sunday noon to clear snow from driveways at the Gutsch and Strand homes.

Logan Dunkin of Rose Hill was a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday guest of Evelyn Forsberg. Dean Forsberg and Logan Dunkin were Tuesday dinner guests. Others visiting Evelyn Tuesday were Joe Forsberg of Salina and Sabrina Dunkin and Ethan Forsberg.
Church services for Hebron Lutheran Church and Burdick United Methodist Church were canceled Sunday due to inclement weather. Official snowfall in Burdick was six inches.
Dean Forsberg was a Thursday afternoon and Saturday afternoon guest of Evelyn Forsberg. Glen Carlson visited Friday morning.
Sabrina Dunkin and Savannah Forsberg were late Wednesday afternoon visitors of Evelyn Forsberg. Mike and Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove were Wednesday evening visitors.
Savannah and Ethan Forsberg were Sunday dinner guests of Evelyn Forsberg. Joe Forsberg and friend of Salina were Sunday afternoon visitors.
