Monday afternoon visitors of Evelyn Forsberg were Sabrina Dunkin and Logan of Rose Hill, and Savannah and Ethan Forsberg. Logan also was a Tuesday afternoon visitor. Dean and Nanette Forsberg and Savannah and Logan Dunkin were late Wednesday afternoon visitors of Evelyn Forsberg. Mike and Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove were Thursday evening visitors of Evelyn Forsberg. Wade and Morgan were overnight guests. Dean Forsberg was a Friday evening visitor.
Burdick UMW met March 21 at Burdick United Methodist Church fellowship hall with 10 members present. Devotions were given by Diana Jost. The lesson for Easter was given by Linda Peterson. Each member received a scented candle. The reading program was reviewed and Diana Jost presented a short book review. Plans were discussed for the guest spring tea to be held at 6 p.m. April 18 at the fellowship hall. Refreshments in keeping with the St. Patrick's Day theme were served by Jean Ecklund.
Shelby Deines was a Friday afternoon visitor of Darlene Gutsch. She brought some pictures for her grandparents.
Ruth Riggin spent March 17 at Salina with Julie Sader. She was a Saturday supper guest of Lyal and Julie Sader at their home.
Don and Gloria Peterson of Camdenton, Mo., and Linda Huntington, Amy and Andrew of Springfield, Va., are houseguests of Ken and Alice Peterson at Herington, having arrived here Wednesday.
Don Peterson was a Wednesday visitor of Neva Peterson.
Paul Rust, a nephew of Neva Peterson and his children, Sam and Alexandria of Napa, Idaho, visited Neva Peterson Sunday.
Mike and Linda Carlson hosted a supper and third birthday party Wednesday evening for Rylee Karst. Other guests were Cicely Karst and Preslee of Wichita, Charles and Arlene Carlson, Kent and Jean Brunner, Jill Brunner and Tucker, Alice and Ken Peterson, Nolan and Melissa Brunner and Leah, and Roger and Rolland Peterson.
Evelyn Forsberg was a Saturday noon dinner guest of Mike and Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan at their home at Council Grove.

Good Friday services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Burdick United Methodist church. The Hebron Lutheran Church will be joining in.
Forrest and Marie Anderson attended a 97th birthday party Sunday afternoon for Verle Bowers at the Main Street Senior Center, Herington. He is a member of their church.
Earl and Lois Peterson, Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, and Ollie Peterson went to Lindsborg Sunday afternoon to attend an 85th birthday party for Isla Rose Nelson.
Lee and Elinor Remy hosted card club Sunday evening at Homestead Village, Herington. Those attending were Ruth Riggin, Linnea Barlow, Earl and Lois Peterson, Walt and Katherine Otte, Vic and Helen Brunner, Bonnie Sill, and LaVerna Miller.
