Darlene Gutsch spent from Saturday noon until Tuesday evening at the home of Jeff and Gayla Deines and family after she was released from Via Christi St. Francis hospital at Wichita. Jessica Deines of Manhattan spent her spring break with her family, recuperating from wisdom tooth surgery, which was done Thursday.

Phillip Hageberg of Topeka spent his spring break from school with Gary and Marilyn Hageberg. Trevor Hageberg was a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday guest of the Hagebergs to visit with Phillip.

Perry Gutsch was a Wednesday after work visitor of Darlene Gutsch.

Teresa Hageberg and Phillip and Denise Hageberg and Trevor were Easter Sunday afternoon and luncheon guests of Gary and Marilyn Hageberg. Phillip returned to Topeka with his mother.

Keep Nancy Riggin and family in your thoughts and prayers this week. Her father, Dick Stevens is in a Wichita hospital.

Gayla Deines was a Thursday evening visitor of Darlene Gutsch. Jeff and Gayla were Friday evening visitors.

Good Friday visitors of Evelyn Forsberg were Harry Schump of Herington, Dean Forsberg and Ethan, and Marcus Dunkin of Rose Hill.

Perry Gutsch of Herington was a Friday afternoon visitor of Darlene Gutsch. He brought some prescriptions from the pharmacy.

March 22 afternoon and supper guests of Evelyn Forsberg were Danny and Tina Crabtree, Adrianne and Jordan of Wagoner, Okla., Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove, and Harry Schump of Herington.

Candice Denault of Salina was a Sunday afternoon visitor of Neva Peterson. Candice will take her back to Salina for a doctor's appointment Monday and bring her home.

There was a community baby shower Saturday afternoon at the Burdick United Methodist fellowship hall honoring Betsy (Tindle) Miller and Brady Bennett of Herington. Twenty-five guests attended the shower. Hostesses were Ruth Ann Carlson, Janet Matz, Diana Jost, Susan Carlson, and Linda Peterson. Special guests were Betsy's mother, Nancy Riggin, Kent's mother and aunt, Carol Miller and Pat Miller of Herington, Betsy's sister, Kelly Pearl of Manhattan, and Ruth Riggin.

Visitors the afternoon of March 19 of Evelyn Forsberg were Wade and Morgan Rickenbrode of Council Grove and Savannah Forsberg. Jane Rickenbrode and Sarah Smith of Council Grove were evening visitors and Wade and Morgan returned home.

Ruth Riggin visited Allie Peterson Sunday afternoon at the assisted living center at Herington.

Marcus and Sabrina Dunkin, Logan and Konor of Rose Hill were March 20 dinner guests of Evelyn Forsberg. Other afternoon and evening visitors were Danny and Tina Crabtree, Adrianne and Jordan of Wagoner, Okla., Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Joe Forsberg of Salina, Savannah Forsberg, Willy Hicks, Ethan Forsberg, and Sammi Seifert.

Ruth Riggin attended the baptism Sunday of Brady Bennett Miller, son of Kent and Betsy Miller at the Herington United Methodist Church. She also was a guest for lunch at the church basement.

Enjoying Easter Sunday dinner at the Dean and Nanette Forsberg home were Danny and Tina Crabtree, Adrienne and Jordan, Marcus and Sabrina Dunkin, Logan and Kon, Harry Schumpf, Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan, Willy Hicks, Joe, Savannah, and Ethan Forsberg, and Evelyn Forsberg.

Keith and Dianne Miller of Grand Junction, Colo., Lois Peterson, and Jim and Marilyn Peterson were Easter Sunday dinner guests of Alfred and Darlene Sondergard at Ramona.

Keith and Dianne Miller and Lois Peterson were Easter Sunday evening visitors of Phil and Jamie Peterson and Sarah.

Monday dinner guests of Evelyn Forsberg were Danny and Tina Crabtree, Adrianne and Jordan and Dean Forsberg. Dean also was a Tuesday dinner guest of Evelyn.

Keith and Dianne Miller flew to their home in Grand Junction, Colo., Tuesday.

Sunday afternoon visitors of Darlene Gutsch were Perry Gutsch, Whitney and Anthony, and Evelyn Forsberg. Evelyn brought Darlene a piece of lemon meringue pie.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were Wednesday evening visitors of Kent and Jean Brunner. They also visited with Jill Brunner and Tucker.

Visiting during the week with Lois Peterson were Charles and Arlene Carlson, Linnea Barlow, Katherine Otte, and Burdette Peterson.

Evelyn Forsberg visited Saturday afternoon with Harry Schump at Herington. Harry was a Sunday dinner and afternoon guest of Evelyn.

Marvin Peterson of Lincolnville, Eric Peterson of Emporia, and Roger and Rolland Peterson were Sunday dinner guests of Mary Deane Peterson. Burdette and Maureen Peterson were afternoon visitors. They were helping clean up the debris from the December ice storm.

Easter Sunday dinner guests of Forrest and Marie Anderson were Gary and Karen Korte of Emporia, Ian Korte of Lawrence, and Erin Korte and Jay Houfer of Manhattan. In the afternoon, they helped the Andersons clean up debris from the December ice storm.
