Burdick Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday at the Legion hall for a covered dish meal. Ice cream will be furnished.

Earl and Evelyn Forsberg and Ethan Forsberg were Monday dinner guests of Mae Forsberg in Junction City.

Harry Schump of Herington and Ethan Forsberg were Tuesday dinner guests of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Darrell and Candice Deneault of Salina were Friday lunch and evening visitors of Neva Peterson.

Ken and Alice Peterson of Herington and Charles and Arlene Carlson had lunch together Friday in Herington.

Earl and Evelyn Forsberg visited Wednesday evening with Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.

Ethan Forsberg was a Thursday overnight guest of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Charles and Arlene Carlson attended a rehearsal supper Friday evening for Nolan Brunner and Melissa Stimac.

Harry Schump of Herington, Stacy Terwilliger, and Joe, Savannah, and Ethan Forsberg were Friday dinner guests of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg. Their Saturday dinner guests were Harry Schump, Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove, and Ethan Forsberg. Visitors on Sunday included Nanette Forsberg and Joe and Savannah, Harry Schump, Earl and Ruth Schump of Herington, Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson, and Mike and Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove.

Earl and Evelyn Forsberg attended a ball game in Council Grove. Wade Rickenbrode was one of the players. Wade went home with the Forsbergs for a few days visit.

Neva Peterson visited Saturday afternoon with Laura Hamm.

Mrs. Scotty Patton of Phillipsburg came May 28 to visit Neva Peterson, returning home after dinner May 29. On Friday, Neva Peterson and Karen Patton visited Steve and Linda Schild who were working at the home where Steve's mother Inez used to live. Steve and Linda are getting ready to move in the house. Afterward, Karen Patton and Neva Peterson visited with Leona Anderson.

Charles and Darlene Gutsch attended the Lincolnville alumni celebration May 29 at the Pilsen Community Center for an afternoon reception and banquet.

Karen Patton, Neva Peterson, and Jack and Nancy Riggin went to Hymer May 28 to see the home Neva lived in before moving to Burdick.

Forrest and Marie Anderson attended the Granzow-Montieth wedding May 29 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herington.

Jane Miles and a friend from Abilene visited Wednesday afternoon with Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Forrest and Marie Anderson attended the Emporia High School commencement Sunday at William A. White auditorium. Their granddaughter, Erin Korte, was one of the graduates. Following graduation, family and friends gathered at the Korte residence for a reception.

Charles and Darlene Gutsch were May 30 lunch guests of Dorothy Rindt of Wichita at the home of Bruce Winkler in Marion. Other guests were Doris and Gene Winkler of Marion. Darlene joined her sisters to decorate graves in Lincolnville, Marion, and Harder cemeteries.

Phil Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Peterson attended a retirement party and supper May 29 for Bill Richardson, former mail carrier for Burdick and Wilsey, at the Saddlerock Café.
