Walter Barnes and Jane Barnes of Tulsa, Okla., and Wanda Huyler of Wichita were weekend guests of Mary Deane Peterson and other relatives. Mary Deane, her houseguests, Burdette and Maureen Peterson, Marvin Peterson and Josie of LIncolnville, Eric Peterson of Topeka, Scott Peterson of El Dorado, Bret and Lisa Beye and family, Ron and Jenny Schrader, Hunter and Shea of Wichita, and Caser and Kelli Salazar, Rigo and Mario of Derby attended the Peterson-Fullerton wedding, reception, dinner, and dance Saturday at Herington.

Marilyn Hageberg and Shirley Miller were Thursday luncheon guests of Janet Johnson at Enterprise. Other guests were Shirley Gawith and Goldie Steeley of Salina. Janet and Shirley are Goldie's nieces.

Gayla Deines, Shelby and Justin were Saturday morning visitors of Darlene Gutsch. They mowed and trimmed her yard.

Evelyn Forsberg was a Saturday afternoon and evening visitor of Harry Schump at Herington. They had supper together at the Mansion.

Harry Schump was a Sunday dinner guest of Evelyn Forsberg. Afternoon visitors were Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Savannah Forsberg, and Willy Hicks.

Burdick Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday at the Legion hall. Lunch will be provided.

Joyce and Ruth Ann Carlson of Lincolnville attended the 25th Kansas 4-H Emerald Banquet Thursday evening at Manhattan. Beth Gaines-Riffel of Tampa, editor of Grass & Grain, was the master of ceremonies. While there, they were in a tornado watch and spent more than 30 minutes in the hallways of the Clarion Hotel.

The WELCA at Hillsboro Lutheran church served brunch Sunday morning before church services.

Lois Peterson, Phil and Jamie Peterson, Roger Peters, Rolland Peterson, and Clint and Diana Jost were among those who attended the Emily Peterson-Josh Fullerton wedding Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington, and the reception, dinner, and dance at the Herington Community Building.

Burdette and Maureen Peterson were Sunday evening visitors of Mary Deane Peterson.

Ruth Riggin was in Salina Thursday for an appointment and, due to the stormy weather in the area, was a Thursday overnight guest of Lyal and Julie Sader.

Tad Remy of Manhattan was a Sunday afternoon visitor of Lee and Elinor Remy.

Remember Arlene Carlson this week as she continues convalescing at the Herington Municipal Hospital.
