Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, Oliver Peterson, and Earl and Lois Peterson were Thursday evening guests of Gene and Marie Thorton of Abilene. They celebrated a belated birthday dinner for Roger and Rolland. Steve Thorton of Abilene also attended.

Charles Gutsch attended a National Farmers Union meeting Monday evening for Marion County at Tampa.

Harry Schump of Herington was a Monday afternoon visitor of Evelyn Forsberg.

Jean Brunner of Ramona took her parents, Charles and Arlene Carlson Monday evening to Wichita. They stayed close to the hospital where Arlene had an early morning appointment to have the battery in her pacemaker replaced. She remained in the hospital during the day and they returned home Tuesday evening. Arlene reports she is doing better after the surgery.

Logan Dunkin of Herington was a Thursday visitor of Evelyn Forsberg. Dean Forsberg, Savannah and Ethan visited Saturday morning. Sunday afternoon Dean Forsberg and Ethan and Joe Forsberg of Salina visited. Joe has a break from school until mid-January.

Earl and Lois Peterson and Oliver Peterson visited Wednesday evening with Wendell Peterson at Herington Municipal Hospital. They also visited that evening with Burdette Peterson at the Junction City hospital.

Evelyn Forsberg visited Friday morning with Earl and Ruth Schump at Herington.

Forrest and Marie Anderson visited Wednesday afternoon with Lavern and Maurine Johnson at Lindsborg.

Charles Gutsch visited Wendell Peterson Wednesday afternoon at Herington Municipal Hospital.

Gayla Deines, Shelby and Justin visited Thursday evening after the junior high basketball game with Charles and Darlene Gutsch.

Earl and Lois Peterson accompanied Jim and Marilyn Peterson Friday evening to Hillsboro to see Reagan Dalke, daughter of Matt and Jamie Dalke in her preschool Christmas program.

Despite the snow and cold weather several of the community attended Burdick United Methodist Church Sunday school program Sunday evening.
