Evelyn Forsberg is a proud great-grandmother. Marcus and Sabrina Dunkin of Rose Hill are the parents of a boy, Konnor James, born March 4. Grandparents are Dean and Nanette Forsberg.

Candice Denault of Salina was a Friday afternoon visitor of Neva Peterson.

Harry Schump of Herington and Dean Forsberg visited Wednesday with Evelyn Forsberg.

Gayla Deines was a Wednesday evening visitor of Darlene Gutsch.

Evelyn Forsberg was a Friday dinner guest of Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan at Council Grove.

Nancy Riggin and Hannah and Cooper Tindle, children of Kelli and Jake Tindle of Hutchinson, were Saturday afternoon visitors of Neva Peterson.

Nanette Forsberg was a Saturday morning visitor of Evelyn Forsberg.

Scott Peterson of El Dorado and Josie Peterson of Lincolnville were Monday supper guests of Mary Deane Peterson.

Pastor Rick Branson, Juanita Helmer, her daughter, Ginger Richter, and Perry Gutsch of Herington were Sunday afternoon visitors of Darlene Gutsch.

Julie Sader of Salina and Ruth Riggin visited Rick Schroer at his home Saturday afternoon.

Harry Schump and Evelyn Forsberg enjoyed Sunday dinner together at the Mansion at Herington. Evelyn visited with Harry at his home in the afternoon.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were Wednesday supper guests of Kent and Jean Brunner. Mike Carlson was a Thursday visitor of the Carlsons.

A large crowd congregated Sunday after services at Hebron Lutheran Church to help clear limbs and debris from the December ice storm. Some of the helpers were Burdette and Maureen Peterson, Ed and Pastor Ruth Ann Jones, Bruce and Alona Hedstrom, Galen and Janis Peterson, Mary Deane Peterson, and Glen and Andy Carlson.

Ed and Pastor Ruth Ann Jones were Sunday dinner guests of Mary Deane Peterson.

Burdick Relay for Life group will be collecting aluminum cans to help with expenses. Proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to donate cans may take them to the container behind Burdick United Methodist Church today (Wednesday).
