Jost relatives and friends gathered Friday at the home of Clint and Diana Jost for a noontime feast of low German food. Those attending were Paul and Wanda Enns of La Junta, Colo., Marty Malin of Laredo, Texas, Judy Malin and Carolyn, Karl and Marilyn Jost of Hillsboro, Corey and Vicki Jost, Emma, Libby, Hannah, and Peter of Sheridan, Wyo., Paul Malin of San Diego, Calif., David Malin, Todd and Wendy Jost, Franklin and Sonya of Lehigh, Diane and Michelle David of Bakersfield, Calif., Scott and Ruth Krause, Ben and Arya of Shawnee, John and Torey Jost of Saint Marys, Naomi Nelson, Tome Nelson, and James Jost.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of Lauren and Orvell Brunner at Ramona. Other guests were Kent and Jean Brunner, Tracy and Yvonne Brunner and Tanner, Mark Brunner, Bryant and Chelsea of Ramona, Jill Brunner and Tucker of Manhattan, John and Amy Hanely of Salina, Nolan and Melissa Brunner and Leah Rose of Herington, Clayton McClough, Bernie and Ann Koch of Wichita, and Gabe and Emilie Schlickan of Dodge City.

Keep the family of Gary Hageberg in your thoughts and prayers this week as his sister, Irene Ford of Colorado recently died.

Charles and Darlene Gutsch attended a birthday party Saturday evening hosted by Jeff and Gayla Deines at their home at Ramona for the 17th birthday of Jessica Deines and the 11th birthday of Justin Deines. Others attending were Shelby Deines, Merv and Leona Deines, Terry and Julie Deines, McKenzie, Dillon, and Carlie, Mark and Kathy Heiser, Debbie Coup and Adam of Hope, Perry Gutsch, Anthony and Whitney of Herington, Bob McCain and Nate of Wichita, and Dustin Burnett of Lincolnville.

Sabrina Dunkin and Logan of Herington were Tuesday afternoon guests of Evelyn Forsberg. Ethan Forsberg was a supper guest.

Burdick Bunch Relay for Life team is having a fund-raiser Friday.

Darrell and Jewel Swinney and Brenda Swinney of Herington were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Ken and Kerry Swinney of Fredonia. Others attending were Ken and Kerry's children, Matt of Joplin, Mo., Adrienne of Independence, Amanda of Pittsburg, and her fiancé, Matt Nelson of Fort Scott.

Mike and Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove hosted a Thanksgiving dinner Thursday for Harry Schump of Herington, Joe Forsberg of Salina, Dean Forsberg, Savannah and Ethan, and Evelyn Forsberg.

Charles and Arlene Carlson visited Thursday evening at Mike and Linda Carlson's to see Jonnie and Cicely Karst, Rylee and Preslee of Wichita. Jonnie and Cicely and girls were weekend guests.

Charles and Darlene Gutsch attended a family Thanksgiving dinner Thursday hosted by Gene and Doris Winkler of Marion at Burdick United Methodist Church.

Forrest and Marie Anderson spent Thanksgiving Day, Friday, and Saturday with Gary and Karen Korte and family at Emporia.

Morgan Rickenbrode was a Thursday overnight guest of Savannah Forsberg. Wade Rickenbrode and Ethan Forsberg were overnight guests of Evelyn Forsberg.

Kelsi Cubbage, Max and Leia of Newton were Sunday dinner guests of Darrell and Jewel Swinney.

Wade and Morgan Rickenbrode of Council Grove and Savannah and Ethan Forsberg were Friday dinner guests of Evelyn Forsberg. Mike and Jane Rickenbrode picked up Wade and Morgan Friday afternoon.

Burdette and Maureen Peterson hosted a Thanksgiving Day dinner for Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson, Marvin and Shelly Peterson, Scott and Josie of Lincolnville, Eric Peterson of Emporia, Cesar and Kelli Salazar and Rigo, Ron and Jenny Schrader, Shea and Hunter of Wichita, and Bret and Lisa Beye, Cuyler and Chelsea of Herington.

John and Amy Hanely of Salina visited Friday afternoon with Charles and Arlene Carlson.

Marcus and Sabrina Dunkin and Logan of Herington, Nanette Forsberg and Ethan, and Joe Forsberg of Salina were Sunday afternoon guests of Evelyn Forsberg.

A birthday celebration was held Sunday morning at Burdick UM Church in honor of Myrtle Peterson's Nov. 28 birthday. Cake, punch, juice, coffee, and snacks were served to the guests.
