Burdick: Petersons enjoy weekend trips in June

Several trips were enjoyed by Burdette and Maureen Peterson during the month of June. They spent a weekend at Hoisington visiting Maureen's sister, Connie and Harold Lueker. A fishing trip was enjoyed by Burdette and Harold and Junior Deutsch at Lake Wilson. The Petersons spent four days this past week at Branson, Mo. They took Elinor Remy with them to visit her daughter, Jan and Chuck Creger and twin grandsons, Caleb and Jacob. Burdette and Maureen visited with Dick and Margaret Peterson at Table Rock Lake. They also enjoyed several shows in Branson.
Galen Peterson was a June 26 evening visitor of Neva Peterson and her guest, Dr. Larry Peterson.
A layette shower will be held for Sabrina (Forsberg) Dunkin at 2 p.m. July 16 at Hebron Lutheran Church basement. Everyone is welcome.
Earl and Evelyn Forsberg took Wade and Morgan Rickenbrode of Council Grove to lunch Monday at Saddle Rock Café.
Mike and Linda Carlson were Tuesday afternoon visitors of Charles and Arlene Carlson.
Wade Rickenbrode spent from Monday to Wednesday afternoon with his grandparents, Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.
Bruce and Alona Hedstrom were in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from Sunday through Thursday. They went to get acquainted with their new granddaughter, Regan Lynn Hedstrom, born June 24. The parents are Spencer and Becky Hedstrom.
Wade Rickenbrode and Ethan Forsberg were Wednesday dinner guests of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.
Jean Brunner was a Thursday afternoon visitor of Charles and Arlene Carlson.
Irvin Strand was a Thursday afternoon visitor of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.
Mike and Linda Carlson were Friday visitors of Jonnie and Cicely Karst and Rylee at Wichita.
Savannah Forsberg was a Friday dinner guest of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg. Earl and Evelyn and Harry Schump visited Friday evening with Earl and Ruth Schump at Herington.
Forrest and Marie Anderson were weekend guests of Gary and Karen Korte at Emporia.
Charles and Arlene Carlson were Saturday guests of Kent and Jean Brunner. They also visited with Jill Brunner and Tucker at Manhattan.
