Charles Gutsch attended a special meeting Monday of OES Esther Chapter 96 at Herington for installation of officers.

Earl and Evelyn Forsberg visited Tuesday evening with Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.

Suzanne Bridges and Taylor Jane of Biloxi, Miss., were guests from March 19 through Sunday of her parents, Leon and Carolyn Nelson.

Ethan Forsberg visited Wednesday afternoon with Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Darlene Gutsch took Shelby and Justin Deines to the Merv Deines home at Ramona Tuesday afternoon to spend the rest of their spring break.

Neva Peterson was a Sunday dinner guest of Jack and Nancy Riggin. Others attending were Kent and Betsy Miller of Herington and O.J. and Kelly Pearl of Wamego.

Dinner guests Thursday of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg were Harry Schump of Herington, Sabrina Dunkin, and Savannah and Ethan Forsberg.

Easter Sunday dinner guests of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson were Shelly Crowder, Marvin Peterson, Scott and Josie of Lincolnville, and Eric Peterson of Emporia. Afternoon visitors were Bret and Lisa Beye, Cuyler and Chelsea of Herington, Lorraine Gerry, Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Schrader, Shae and Hunter of Wichita.

Dean and Nanette Forsberg were Thursday evening visitors of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were Saturday afternoon visitors of Kent and Jean Brunner. Jill Brunner and Tucker of Manhattan also were there.

Forrest and Marie Anderson were Sunday evening visitors of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.

Visitors Friday afternoon of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg were Harry Schump of Herington, Dean, Savannah, and Ethan Forsberg, and Glenn and Andy Carlson.

Jill Brunner and Tucker of Manhattan were Tuesday dinner guests of Charles and Arlene Carlson.

Earl and Evelyn Forsberg visited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan at Council Grove and their houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Crabtree, Adrianne and Jordan of Wagoner, Okla.

Ruth Riggin and Lois Peterson visited Thursday with Gary Zinn at Wamego.

Remember the time change for Burdick United Methodist Church next Sunday. Church services are at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:45 a.m.

Irvin and Audine Strand met Greg and Rita Strand of Overland Park Sunday at Emporia and spent the day together.

Gary Hageberg picked up Phillip Hageberg Thursday evening and brought him to Burdick for a few days.

Weekend guests of Forrest and Marie Anderson were Gary and Karen Korte and Ian of Emporia and Erin Korte of Manhattan.

Easter Sunday dinner guests of Gary and Marilyn Hageberg were Teresa Hageberg and Phillip, Kenny Roberts, Cody and Clay of Topeka, Gene and Jackie Hageberg, Janeen and Tray of Hillsboro, Jamie Peale and Kody Brooks, Eleetra Meierhoff and friend Robert, Jennilee Prece of Florence, and Mike and Denice Hageberg, Steven and Trevor.

Jim and Marilyn Peterson and Earl and Lois Peterson were Easter Sunday guests of Alfred and Darlene Sondergard and family of Ramona.

Burdette Peterson had surgery Saturday at Inova Alexandria Hospital, Alexandria, Va. He will be in the intensive care unit for several days. A room number and address will be published later.

There will be a fund-raiser for Bud Peterson at 10 a.m. Sunday at Hebron Lutheran Church and at 9:30 a.m. at Burdick United Methodist Church. Coffee and donuts will be served before church at HLC; refreshments will be served between church services and Sunday school at BUMC. The Thrivent Financial Group will match all funds.
