Burn sites open for residents

Approved sites are for disposal of tree limbs only

Approved burn sites for city residents for disposal of tree limbs only are:

Burns: Main/Santa Fe, near Farmers Grain Cooperative.

Durham: West Sixth Street. There will be no curb-side pickup in Durham.

Florence: Behind sewer pond, south of Florence on Main Street. Turn east at the first corner.

Goessel: South Summit past park and cable tower.

Hillsboro: One mile north of U.S.-56 on Indigo. Residents may pile brush close to the curb for city pickup.

Lehigh: North Prospect. Contact city clerk or councilman for keys.

Lincolnville: South side of town on U.S.-77, east side of road. Site open only during daylight hours.

Marion: South Third Street, south of bridge, east side of road. Site open 24 hours until further notice. Residents may pile brush close to the curb or alley for city pickup.

Peabody: Locust and Second streets. Site open only during daylight hours.

Ramona: One block west of B Street on Third.

Tampa: Roosevelt and 330th.

The Burns Community Building is the only emergency shelter that remained open at press time. Volunteers are serving three meals per day at the site.
