Card shower will honor Sylvia Bezdek
The family of Sylvia Bezdek requests a card shower to honor her on the occasion of her 80th birthday.
Her family includes daughters, Paulette and her husband, Gerald Holub of Hesston, and Marcia and her husband, Dan Falen of Hope. She has one grandson and three step-grandchildren.
Born July 24, 1924 in Pilsen, as Sylvia Svitak, she attended Pilsen grade school and graduated from Lincolnville High School. She married Paul S. Bezdek Nov. 5, 1945.
She worked at Pilsen State Bank in Pilsen and continued after the bank moved to Lincolnville. She also worked at Marion Livestock Sale Barn, Ramona State Bank, and Herington Livestock Sale Barn.
