Carolyn Weber, Michael Bell married in Aug. 13 ceremony years ago

Carolyn Dian Weber and Michael Wayne Bell were married at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Ogallala, Neb., with Father Bryan Ernest as celebrant.

Parents of the bride are Donna and Delmer Fink of Florence and the late Bernard Weber. She is the granddaughter of Gertrude Weber of Elmdale, the late Tom and Alberta Herzet, and the late Raymond Weber.

The groom is the son of Joan Bell of Sydney, Neb., and the late Donald Bell. He is the grandson of Ann Borm of Chappell, Neb., and the late August Borm.

The groom's sister-in-law, Karen Niemann of Omaha, Neb., gave the readings.

The bride's aunt and uncle, Bob and Marlene Herzet of Hillsboro were gift bearers. Bob Herzet also was the Eucharistic minister during the Mass.

Lexi Bauer of Fort Collins, Colo., was soloist. Karla Lawler of Ogallala, Neb., was organist.

Escorted down the aisle by her father, the bride wore a white Alfred Angelo strapless A-line trumpet dress with pearl and sequin-beaded lace overlay. The gown featured a buttoned back and chapel-length lace and sequin train. A beaded-edge, two-tier tulle veil was held in place by a silver rhinestone tiara.

She carried a bouquet of fresh yellow roses and white stephanotis with blue ribbon accent.

Julie Shaw of Emporia served as her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily French of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Megan Nowak of Ogallala, Neb.

They wore floor-length empire waist gowns of sky blue and carried silk bouquets of yellow, blue, and white roses accented with blue ribbons.

The bride's niece, Taylor Pontious of Marion, was the flower girl. She wore a floor-length sky blue gown and carried a basket of yellow and white rose petals.

Bowe Reimers served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Nowak and Brian Canfield. All are from Ogallala.

The bride's nephew, Adam Shaw of Emporia served as ring bearer.

Guests were seated by the groom's brothers, Larry and Alan Niemann of Omaha, Neb., and friends John Nowak and Shaun Bullock, both of Ogallala.

Tiffany Bullock of Ogallala was the bride's personal attendant.

The flower arrangements and guest book were made and attended by the bride's sister, Sheila Williams of Marion.

The bride's niece, Alycia Pontious of Marion and the groom's nieces, Allison and Rachel Niemann of Omaha, Neb., were in charge of gifts.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception, dinner, and dance was held at Haythorn Land & Cattle Co., and Figure Four Traditions, north of Lake McConaughy, Neb.

The bride's aunt and uncle, Wayne and Jane Weber of Marion and the groom's sister and husband, Susan and Bob Elsen of Sidney, Neb., were hosts at the reception.

Reception attendants were Melissa Parmley of Cedar Point, Angie Herzet of Hillsboro, and Kylie Meyer of Lincoln, Neb.

The bride is a graduate of Marion High School and Flint Hills Technical College, Emporia, with an associate of applied science degree in computer technologies. She is employed by Prophet Systems Innovations in Ogallala.

Her husband is a graduate of Sidney High School. He serves as captain of the Ogallala Volunteer Fire Department and is employed by Nelson Construction and Custom Homes.

Following a wedding trip to Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple lives in Ogallala, Neb.
