Centre ag sales team is second in state
The ag sales team from Centre FFA chapter finished second in state competition May 1-2 at Manhattan.
They are Julie Rziha, Nellie Hill, Kristine Jirak, and Tye Remy. Rziha placed ninth individually.
The ag business management team of Jackie Klenda, Jeremy Kristek, Tad Remy, and Joseph Stroda placed first (see photo).
The dairy cattle team of Nathan Barney, Julie Rziha, Nellie Hill, and Kacey Hanschu finished ninth.
Other placements included Jackie Klenda, 10th in ag communications and Jo Terwilliger, 14th in food science.
Other teams in competition included: agronomy, Jirak, Stroda, Andy Carlson, and Justine Jennings; ag communications, Gloria Belton, Alisha Barney, Brandy Kaiser, and Jackie Klenda; food science, Terwilliger, Belton, Alisha Barney, and Brooke Carlson; livestock judging, Alfonse Klenda, Nathan Barney, and James Weber.
