Centre FFA par law team qualifies for state

For the fourth consecutive year, the Centre FFA parliamentary procedure team qualified for state competition.

The senior team of Nellie Hill, Kristine Jirak, Tye Remy, Julie Rziha, Dallas Spooner, and chairman Allie Will qualified to advance Nov. 6 with a second place finish at the South Central District Leadership School at Chaparral High School in Harper.

The senior ritual team of Andy Carlson, Nathan Barney, Shelby Deines, Nellie Hill, Kristine Jirak, and Julie Rziha finished third. The same team finished second in leadership information. Individually, Jirak placed third and Rziha eighth.

The freshman par-law team of Ben Baker, chairman Tanner Brunner, Tyler Klenda, Casey Kristek, Tori Marler, and Allison Shields finished in second place.

The freshman ritual team of Brian Burhoop, Amanda Floyd, chairman Ripley Howard, Adam Matz, Katie Remy, and Cole Svoboda finished third. Svoboda finished third and Remy fifth in creed speaking. Benjamin Wirtz and Jacob Jirak assisted with the creed speaking event.
