Centre king, queen announced Friday

This week is Spirit Week at Centre High School as students choose the 2004 fall homecoming royalty.

The coronation ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the football field, prior to the game with White City.

The homecoming theme is, "Live Like You Were Dying." Colors are black, silver, white, and purple.

King candidates are: Trent Hajek, son of Ron and Leona Hajek, Lost Springs; Andrew Hajek, son of John and Carla Hajek, Tampa; and Justin Garrard, son of John and Sandra Garrard, Lincolnville.

Queen candidates are: Brianne Stahlecker, daughter of Alan and Sheri Stahlecker, Lincolnville; Shaina Makovec, daughter of Gail and Marissa Makovec, Ramona; and Dana Beltz, daughter of Mike and Linda Beltz, Ramona.

Little helpers are: Brendon Bina, son of Jeff and Terri Bina, Pilsen; Kaitlin Brunner, daughter of Jayme Brunner and Krista Giffen, Ramona, and Corissa Dones, Lost Springs; Raeanne Bryant, daughter of Laura Bryant, Tampa; Karoline Chizek, daughter of John and Dawn Chizek, Lincolnville; Valerie Craney, daughter of Junior and Anna Craney, Marion; Dylan Deines, son of Terry and Julie Deines, Ramona; Hannah Hemmer, daughter of Holly Hemmer, Lincolnville, and Michael Hemmer, Wichita; Steven Holub, son of Kenny and Cathy Holub, Tampa; Alex Kendrick, son of Lynette Kendrick, Lincolnville; Joseph Legg, son of Twila Legg, Tampa, and Benjamin Love, Burdick.

A dance will be held in the commons after the game until midnight. The disc jockey will be Steve Seifert of Lost Springs.
