Centre schools plan spring concerts
The Centre Elementary School (K-6) spring program will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the Centre High School gymnasium.
The junior/senior high school spring concert will be held at 7 p.m. May 18. It will include bands from grades 5-12 and vocal groups from grades 7-12.
Williams attends school
City of Marion Economic Development Director Jami Williams recently completed a five-day seminar.
Williams was one of 71 students from eight states who attended an annual Heartland Economic Development Course in Blue Springs, Mo.
The course allowed participants to gain an understanding of economic development strategies, and maximize the use of resources.
The course was accredited by the International Economic Development Council.
