Chili cook-off planned for chamber lunch
Marion Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a chili cook-off during the monthly business meeting Nov. 19 in Marion City Building basement.
The chili entries will be served at the luncheon.
Three prizes will be awarded. First place will receive a $25 chamber check donated by Central National Bank, second place will receive a $15 chamber check donated by Marion National Bank, and a $10 chamber check will be awarded to the third place entry and is donated by Tampa State Bank.
Those who wish to participate should contact the chamber office at (620) 382-3425 by Monday to enter.
The program will include a report on a recent citywide economic development survey.
