Christiana Shields
Christiana Marie Shields, 100, died July 21, 2004, at Wichita.
Born April 17, 1904, at Lost Springs, she was the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Fengel) Shields.
She graduated from Kansas State University in 1940, and was a retired school teacher. She loved to travel and took a trip around the world in 1937.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and four sisters.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were conducted Wednesday morning at Rosebank Cemetery near Hope with Larry Timm officiating.
