CHS netters enter tourney as third seed
The Centre High School volleyball team traveled to St. Xavier Tuesday for the regional volleyball tournament. They were seeded third with a record of 18-12. Results will be published next week.
The final regular matches of the season were played Oct. 10 at Moundridge against two higher-level schools.
The Lady Cougars were defeated by Peabody in three games, 22-25, 25-19, and 15-25 and by Moundridge in two games, 7-25 and 18-25.
The junior varsity lost to Peabody in two close games, 23-25 and 24-26.
