Clinton Hanschu

Clinton F. Hanschu, 84, lifelong resident of Ramona, died March 7, 2006, at Salina.

Born Feb. 15, 1922, at Ramona, he was the son of David Sr. and Caroline (Riffel) Hanschu.

He graduated from Ramona High School with the class of 1940 and was a farmer in the Ramona area all his life. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ramona.

On Aug. 1, 1943, he married Frances M. Batt.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Dave Hanschu Jr., Lawrence Hanschu, Rueben Hanschu, and Bennie Hanschu; and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Frances of Ramona; daughter Sharyn and Mike Mueller of Olathe; son, Randy and Jo Hanschu of Kansas City; sister, Kathryn Magathan of Herington; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday morning at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ramona, with Pastor Clark Davis officiating.

Burial was in Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.

Memorial funds have been established with Trinity Lutheran Church, Ramona, or City of Ramona bench fund.
