Michael and Jennifer Jay of Goessel announce the birth of a son, Cody Wayne, born April 20, 2008, at Newton Medical Center.
He weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Grandparents are Brad Backhus of Tampa and Larry and Peggy Jay of Goessel.
Great-grandparents are Paul and Edna Backhus of Tampa.
