Colle named music scholar
Syneva Colle was selected by the faculty of the University of Tulsa School of Music as a Presser Scholar 2006-07.
The award is presented to outstanding students majoring in music in designated institutions. This prestigious award is granted only to one student at each institution.
Colle is a senior earning dual bachelor of music degrees in piano and cello performance. She is principal cellist of the TU symphony and also plays with the Signature Symphony of Tulsa.
She is the daughter of Brent and Francine Colle of Ponca City, Okla., and granddaughter of Eula Colle of Marion.
