Commencement is this weekend
High school seniors across the county will be walking across the stage to get their diplomas this weekend.
The Goessel High School graduation ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in the high school gym.
Peabody High School will start the day's activities at 10:45 a.m. Sunday with baccalaureate in the high school gym, followed by graduation at 4 p.m.
Centre High School commencement exercises will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday in the high school gym. Speakers are Tye Remy and Nellie Hill.
The Hillsboro High School ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the high school gym.
Marion High School will start its graduation weekend at 7 p.m. Saturday with baccalaureate at Eastmoor United Methodist Church. The speaker will be Presbyterian minister Jeremiah Lange. At 4 p.m. Sunday, graduation will take place in the high school gymnasium. Kristin Waner, valedictorian, and Brett Billings, salutatorian, will be the speakers.
