LETTERS: Community comes through years ago

You did it again! Great things are still happening when people work together.
The benefit for the Central Park playground equipment was one of those "great things." Volunteers spent hours planning and working. The response to requests for pies and supplies was awesome, as usual. The number of people coming to support he soup supper and bake sale showed that this was a worthwhile project that would improve Central Park and be a benefit to the community.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is proud to be part of and support church and community projects. We give a big "thank you" to all the volunteers, Thrivent members, and community members who helped with this benefit.
