Community Thanksgiving Dinner planned
Plans are being made for the annual community Thanksgiving dinner. A traditional dinner will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at Marion Middle/High School Commons.
The menu will include turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, pie, roll, and coffee or tea. A free will donation will be accepted but not required. The proceeds will provide funds to Marion Ministerial Alliance's Helping Hands program which assists those in need.
Everyone is invited to participate in the meal and fellowship. Reservations are necessary and may be made by calling Marion Chamber of Commerce at (620) 382-3425 by Nov. 17. Deliveries will be made to those unable to come to the school.
The event is sponsored by Marion Ministerial Alliance with assistance of community volunteers.
