Couple plans August wedding
Koren Wedel, Chris Farrington
Dennis and Linda Wedel of Canton announce the engagement of their daughter, Koren, to Chris Farrington, son of Warren and Kathy Farrington of Hoisington.
Grandparents of the bride are Lorraine Havlik of Marion, Irby Wedel of Canton, the late Frank Havlik, and the late Lucille Wedel.
Bob and Betty Pettigrew of Wellington are the groom's grandparents.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Canton-Galva High School and Fort Hays State University. She is employed with Lambdin, Soderberg and Lambdin Law firm, Wichita.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Hoisington High School and Fort Hays State University. He is employed by McKenzie Scott Partners Client Services, Denver, Colo.
The couple plans to be married Aug. 20 at Lakeside Park, McPherson.
