Couple plans July wedding
Liz Erickson and Derek Carlson
Rick and Collette Erickson of Chapman announce the engagement of their daughter, Liz to Derek Carlson, son of Verle and Sheryl Carlson of Lyons.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Chapman High School and Kansas State University with a degree in elementary education.
She is the granddaughter of Howard and Beth Collett of Marion and Marjorie Erickson of Herington.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Lyons High School and Kansas State University with a degree in elementary education. He will teach seventh grade math at Emporia Middle School.
The couple will be married July 22 at College Avenue United Methodist Church, Manhattan.
