Crawford, Williams married

Vicki Kay Crawford and Michael Dwaine Williams of Marion were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Feb. 14, 2004, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion. The Revs. John Goering and Rick Branson officiated during the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Robert Hartley and Cheryl Ray of Marion. Gary Williams is the father of the groom. Michael is the grandson of Jack and Sue Williams of Marion.

Given in marriage by her brother, Robb Hartley, the bride wore a strapless white satin gown with a beaded band featuring a bodice detailed with pleats. The A-line skirt flowed into a chapel-length train. Her headpiece was a rhinestone halo embellished with a three-tiered cathedral-length veil highlighted with scattered rhinestones and satin ribbon edging. She carried a bouquet of multiple white roses wrapped in white satin and accented with pearl sprays displayed in a princess-cut fashion.

Cheryl Ray, mother of the bride, served her daughter as honor attendant. Julie Deines of Ramona was bridesmaid. They wore black dresses and each carried a single white rose wrapped in white satin ribbon.

The best man was Scot Williams, brother of the groom. Matt Buchanan of Marion was the groomsman.

Falon Crawford, daughter of the bride, was the flower girl. Ring bearers were Blake and Seth Crawford, sons of the bride. Candlelighters were Blake and Seth Crawford.

Ushers were David Hett of Marion, and Nick Hein and Chris Bernhardt, both of Hillsboro.

Wedding music was a collection of the bride and groom's personal favorites.

Jessica Ottensmeier and Krystal Williams were guest book attendants and in charge of gifts.

A reception was held at Eastmoor United Methodist Church. Reception attendants were Becky Summerville and Leah Schmidt of Marion and Stephanie Harris of Salina.

For their honeymoon, the couple is planning a family vacation.

The bride is a graduate of Marion High School and Vernon's School of Cosmetology. She is a self-employed cosmetologist.

The groom also is a Marion High School graduate. He is employed at Martin-Marietta Quarry in Marion.
