Criminal cases

The following information has been filed in the Criminal Division of Marion County District Court:

Harvey Lee Scruggs Jr., charged with criminal threat.

Justin Bowley, arraignment at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 14.

Durhonda Franklin, charged with obstructing legal process, driving while license suspended, child passenger safety, and speed; journal entry of conviction and sentencing, defendant appears by attorney, enters plea of no contest to counts two and three, state dismisses counts one and four, 30 days controlling sentence with Marion County Sheriff's Office for count two, six months unsupervised probation, pay fine $200, fine and costs of $167 for count three.

Joshua Rush, charged with possession of hallucinogenics and possession of drug paraphernalia; journal entry of conviction and sentencing, defendant appears with attorney, enters plea of no contest to count one, state to dismiss count two, 30 days controlling sentence with MNSO, six months unsupervised probation, pay costs and fines of $667.

Stacy Peterson, charged with giving worthless check; defendant appears with attorney, state requests matter dismissed, costs and restitution paid in full.

Corey D. Bloom, charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended, transporting open container, renewal of registration, and speed; journal entry of judgment, sentenced 15 months custody of secretary of correction, 18 months supervised probation with community correction, 50 hours community service work, refrain from use of alcohol/drugs, submit to bb/u testing, obtain drug/alcohol evaluation and follow at own expense, gain/maintain employment, complete 48 hours for failure of urinary analysis, complete mandatory drug treatment, pay costs and fees $1,077.

Ronald Scott Davis, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; defendant appears with attorney, state requests matter dismissed, costs assessed to state.

John S. Schmeling, plea hearing at 11 a.m. Sept. 8.

Sharla Miller, charged with arson, theft, unknown misdemeanor, and criminal damage to property; diversion agreement with order of continuance and dismissal.

Ronald Lee Johnson, motion hearing at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 15.
