Timothy W. Hatch, two counts of giving a worthless check less than $500; first appearance at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 30.

Debra Lynn Savage, battery; defendant pleaded guilty to count one; court ordered defendant to a controlling sentence of 60 days in the custody of Marion County Sheriff which was suspended; defendant was placed on immediate supervised probation with court services officer for 12 months, ordered to serve 48 hours in the county jail for every positive drug/alcohol test, refusal to submit, or admission of usage, refrain from the use of alcohol or drugs, and submit to a blood, breath, or urine test upon request of a court services officer or law enforcement officer; to obtain an alcohol/drug evaluation and follow recommendations at own expense, pay court costs of $128, probation fee of $25, and court-appointed attorney fees as determined.

Anthony P. Wang, aggravated indecent liberties with a child under the age of 14, criminal threat with intent to terrorize or cause evacuation; upon motion of the county attorney the case was dismissed without prejudice, costs to be assessed to the state.

Roscoe J. Czarnowsky, five counts of non-support of a child; pleaded nolo contendere (no contest); court ordered defendant to 12 months of supervised probation, pay $17,531 of back child support, court costs of $143, KBI lab fee of $400, and court-appointed attorney fees of $625.

Justin Harmon, sentencing at 11 a.m. Feb. 25.

Darrel D. Heslet, plea hearing rescheduled to 9 a.m. Jan. 30.

Casey R. Nickelson, criminal damage to property less than $500; upon motion of the county attorney the case was dismissed without prejudice and costs assessed to the state.

Christopher Eugene Stephen, motion to forfeit bond, hearing at 9:45 a.m. Feb. 4.

Stacey Alan Deines, original charges were eight counts of forgery which were amended to two counts of theft of less than $1,000 (each); pleaded no contest to counts one and two; court ordered defendant to a 12-month controlling sentence for count one and a 12-month controlling sentence for count two to be concurrent with each other and the defendant's sentence in Morris, Dickinson, and Sedgwick counties, in the custody of the Marion County Sheriff; ordered to pay court costs of $128, restitution of $800, and $300 for court-appointed attorney fees; all fees and restitution to be paid upon release from jail.
