Michael E. Richmond, assault; arraignment held Jan. 30.
Dustin Gomez II, possession of depressants, stimulants, hallucinogenics, steroids; bond appearance held Jan. 30; diversion status check at 9:45 a.m. March 11.
Jesse M.C. Taylor, no drug tax, possession of depressants, stimulants, hallucinogenics, steroids; bond appearance held Jan. 30.
Edward A. Syres, criminal use of weapons, transporting an open container of alcohol, speed; bond appearance held Jan. 30.
Marcus Abe Penner, status hearing at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 25.
Justin J. Milne, motion hearing to revoke probation at 1:15 p.m. March 24.

Gary Lee McCloud Jr., giving a worthless check less than $500; upon motion of county attorney case was dismissed without prejudice and costs assessed to the state.

Theodore James Elllis, domestic battery; entered diversion, charge will be dismissed with prejudice by county attorney when diversion is completed, diversion included the completion of anger management counseling at own expense, the payment of court costs of $128, booking fee of $45, diversion fee of $125, and court-appointed attorney fees as determined, all costs and fees to be paid within 60 days; diversion agreement will terminate in 12 months if defendant follows stipulations.
Marc A. Thomas, arraignment rescheduled to 8:45 a.m. Feb. 25.
Kirk W. Seals, original charges of obstructing legal process in misdemeanor case, DUI (second conviction), speed; charges one and three dismissed and defendant pleaded no contest to count two and sentenced to a controlling sentence of six months in the custody of Marion County Sheriff which was suspended, defendant was placed on immediate supervised probation for one year with a court services officer that included conditions of serving 48 hours in the county jail for every positive drug/alcohol test, refusal to submit, or admission of usage, shall not enter any establishment whose primary source of income is from the sale of alcohol or cereal malt beverage, obtain an alcohol/drug evaluation and follow recommendation at own expense, complete 15 hours of community service work, refrain from the use of alcohol or drugs, submit to a blood, breath, or urine test upon request of a court services or law enforcement officer, shall not operate a motor vehicle without providing supervising officer with verification of a valid driver's license, pay court costs of $128, fine of $1,000, probation fee of $25, other fee of $150, and booking fee of $45.
Darrel Heslet, aggravated indecent liberties with a child under the age of 14; plea agreement negotiated which amended the complaint to aggravated sexual battery, the state agreed to file no other charges arising from the circumstances causing the original complaint, defendant is sentenced to serve 48 months in the custody of the Secretary of Corrections with the appropriate post-release supervision term, regardless of the defendant's criminal history.

Brent E. Rauh, probation violation hearing, defendant waived the hearing and stipulated to the probation violation as alleged by the state that the defendant failed to report as directed, remained drug- and crime-free, obtain written permission to leave the supervising county, make payments to the court, and complete treatment, court reinstated the defendant's supervised probation for 24 months with community corrections to be concurrent with another Marion County criminal case, probation shall be subject to all original terms and conditions that also include the completion of treatment at a halfway house and any additional terms and conditions made by Central Kansas Foundation, and ordered to pay any additional court-appointed attorney fees.
