Criminal division

The following information has been filed in the Criminal Division of Marion County District Court:

Naman Flores-Rios, possession of depressant, stimulants, hallucinogenics, steroids, possession of simulated controlled substances or drug paraphernalia; defendant appeared on probable cause arrest and is partially indigent, court appointed attorney Dan Baldwin, bond was set at $1,000.

Kelli Bowen, battery against a law enforcement officer, domestic battery; defendant appeared on bond and is indigent, court appointed attorney David Harger, bond to continue, arraignment at 10:30 a.m. April 25.

Glenn M. Danielson, possession of depressant, stimulants, hallucinogenics, steroids, possession of simulated controlled substances or drug paraphernalia; defendant appeared on bond and is partially indigent, court appointed attorney Dan Baldwin, defendant to pay $50 by May 1 and by the first of each month until matter is resolved, bond to continue, arraignment at 9:45 a.m. May 15.

Charles D. Rumsey, aggravated indecent liberties with a child under the age of 14; first appearance at 10:30 a.m. May 15.

Stacey Alan Deines, defendant appeared on bond and is indigent, court appointed attorney David Harger, bond is to continue, preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. May 2.

Derek R. Swiercinsky, diversion status check at 9:45 a.m. May 15.

Kevin C. Costello, diversion status check at 9:45 a.m. May 15.

Daniel R. Denham, diversion status check at 9:30 a.m. June 6.

Vincent Douglas Darrah, probation revoked, defendant ordered to serve original sentence with a total credit of 185 days.

Brian E. Thiessen, diversion status check rescheduled to 9:45 a.m. May 15.

Mindy Besch, possession of opiates, opium, or narcotic drugs, possession of depressant, stimulants, hallucinogenics, steroids, possession of simulated controlled substances or drug paraphernalia; upon motion of county attorney, count one is amended to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, court granted motion, defendant waived right to preliminary examination and formal arraignment and pleaded no contest to counts one and two, court accepted waiver and plea, and found defendant guilty of one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, upon count attorney motion, count two is dismissed with prejudice; matter set for sentencing.

Leah A. January, defendant waived right to preliminary hearing, court accepted waiver and defendant bound over on one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, arraignment held, status hearing at 9:45 a.m. May 9.

Richard Todd Litton, bond appearance for failure to appear at 10:30 a.m. April 23.

Stacey Alan Deines, failure to register as a sex offender (violation date of June 21, 2005), upon county attorney motion, court withdraws motion to revoke probation in this matter.

Billie J. Fleming, possession of opiates, opium, or narcotic drugs (violation date of Aug. 24, 2006); pre-trial motions rescheduled to 9 a.m. May 8.

David M. Gore, defendant waived probation violation hearing and stipulations to allegation, court accepts stipulation and finds defendant violated his probation as alleged, court revokes probation, court reinstates defendant's probation for original term plus six months with Court Services Officer subject to all original terms and conditions with special conditions, defendant shall serve 60 days in Marion County Jail, court orders cash bond for $150 be remanded to clerk of district court be applied to fees, defendant to pay any additional court appointed attorney's fees as determined by the court.

Gregory J. Keller, criminal damage to property less than $500; defense moved for a new trial, court denied motion for new trial, parties proceeded to sentencing, defendant sentenced to a controlling sentence of 90 days in the custody of Marion County Sheriff, placed on immediate supervised probation for 11 months with CSO, probation subject to all standard terms and conditions with special condition that defendant pay court costs of $128, fine of $750, booking fee of $45, and restitution of $300.81 to Roger Walker, defendant's supervised probation can be done by mail.
