Criminal division

The following information has been filed in the Criminal Division of Marion County District Court:

Chad Reck, aggravated assault, obstructing legal process in felony case; first appearance at 10:30 a.m. June 25.

Melanie Saretta Stephen, possession of stolen property more than $500, theft of less than $1,000; defendant appeared from probable cause arrest and is indigent, court appointed attorney Chris Costello, bond set at $500 cash/cash surety; made arraignment and first appearance, preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. June 27.

Aaron W. Redburn, possession of stolen property more than $500, theft of less than $1,000; defendant appeared from probable cause arrest and is indigent, court appointed attorney Dave Harger, bond set at $500 cash/cash surety, made arraignment and first appearance; preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 1.

Christopher Eugene Stephen, possession of stolen property more than $500, theft of less than $1,000; defendant appeared from probable cause arrest and is indigent, court appointed attorney Dan Baldwin, bond set at $500 cash/cash surety; defendant made arraignment, did not show for first appearance.

Eugene Regalado, disorderly conduct; defendant appeared from bond and is partially indigent, court appointed Baldwin as attorney, bond to continue, court lifts no contact order, defendant ordered not to consume alcohol and ordered to submit to random testing at request of law enforcement; arraignment is at 9:45 a.m. June 18.

Keith A. Buelow, sale or possession with intent to sell hallucinogens, possession of opiates, opium, narcotic drugs, aggravated escape while being held on a felony charge, no drug stamp, possession of simulated controlled substances or drug paraphernalia.

Brandon L. David, order of continuance, defendant requested attorney Harger be removed from case, court advised defendant that Harger will not be removed as court-appointed attorney until such time another attorney has entered appearance on the defendant's behalf, summons to continue and defendant ordered to refrain from use of alcohol and drugs, and submit to blood/breath/urine test upon request of court services officer of law enforcement.

David Bostic plea hearing held, upon motion of county attorney, count one is amended by interlineation to attempted possession of methamphetamine, defendant waived formal arraignment and pleaded no contest to count one as amended; upon motion of county attorney, charge of possession of simulated controlled substances or drug paraphernalia was dismissed with prejudice, defendant stipulated to evidence and court found defendant guilty of one count of attempted possession of methamphetamine. CSO to complete a PSI by June 13; matter set for sentencing at 11 a.m. June 18.

Daniel R. Denham, diversion status check held; defendant pleaded not guilty; bench trial set for 2 p.m. June 25.

Ira B. Johnson, preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. June 20.

Ashley Keezer, failure to appear; bond appearance at 10:30 a.m. June 18.

Kevin Neufeld, arraignment at 9:45 a.m. June 18.

Jesse Ernesto Corona, aggravated battery (intentional great bodily harm), aggravated endangering a child under 18 years of age. criminal threat with intent to terrorize or cause evacuation, criminal trespass (violation date April 18); preliminary hearing waived, motion granted to endorse additional witnesses, arraignment at 10 a.m. July 11.

Rochelle D. Atwood, burglary, theft by deception between $500 to $25,000, theft by deception less than $500; plea hearing at 11 a.m. July 10.
