Dale Millers to observe 60th anniversary years ago
Dale and Lois Miller of Florence will observe their 60th wedding anniversary Friday.
The couple began their life together in 1947. In 1948, they purchased Miller Produce in Florence, and operated it until 1967. Dale then worked for his brother at Mark Miller Supreme Eggs in Cottonwood Falls until 2004, when the business closed. He has been a volunteer EMT with the Florence Ambulance Service for the past 30 years.
They have five children, Robert and Lynetta Miller of Dewey, Okla., Lynne Depler and Sonya Schambron, both of Topeka, Tony and Pat Miller of Moore, Okla., and Tina Miller of Wichita. They also have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
No formal celebration is planned but they would appreciate cards. Their address is 416 W. 6th, Florence.
