LETTERS: Efforts appreciated years ago
To the Editor:
I would like to thank the wonderful city workers for all their help with Art in the Park. As usual, they did a great job of having everything ready for us. Terry and Larry came Saturday night with the trash truck. Frank came to help them as a volunteer.
As I was leaving the park late Friday night, Marty drove by to check on things. Don has been patient and understanding about his extra workload in the park. What great guys. I don't mean to overlook anyone, as I know all helped throughout the week. And the gals in the city office also are invaluable.
It was super having Martin help with traffic control. Our mayor is a fun guy. Jim came down to check things out, tighten the big tent, and enjoy the festivities with his wife. We really appreciate all the support. It takes a lot of people to make it happen.
We have a lot of great people in Marion, and a beautiful town in which we should all be proud.
