Efforts appreciated
To the Editor:
Thank you to the Marion Boy Scouts and all who donated items during the recent Scouting for Food drive. These items were given to Marion County Emergency Food Bank in Marion.
For those who missed out on giving, there were no plastic bags left on your door this year. Instead there was a notice inviting donations in your own plastic bag.
Those who still want to participate this year may call Bob Brookens, 382-3556; Janet Bryant, 382-3418; or Jackie Palic, 382-3717 or leave bags at any local church.
